Excellent product range and price - Plush SteelExcellent product range and price. Really like the fact that you can create the perfect bed with a wide choice of options available. Communication around delivery could have been better and had to chase up delivery and even then received misleading information otherwise would have been 5*. But hey, all came good in the end and the bed is great
Dimensions
- All Standard Floor Standing Bed Heads add approximately 8cm to the length of the End Opening Ottomans
- All Side Opening Ottomans are required to be fitted with spacers between the bed base and the headboard this adds approximately 10cm to the length of the bed
- All Wingback Floor Standing Bed Heads add a further 10cm to the width of the bed each.

How To Assemble your Ottoman Bed
Now it’s time to set up your dream bed! Assembling an ottoman bed is an easy process. All you need to do is follow the instructions properly. First, take your time to attentively unpack each and everything and familiarize yourself with all its accessories. Once you read the instructions, let’s get started.
All you need is spanners and Allen keys.
Prepare your Space:
You need to have enough room space to assemble any bed. So make sure your room is empty so that after assembling, you can easily position it as well. To protect your flooring, lay down a mat on the ground. As well as place some thick material under the legs to stop the bed from moving.
Familiarise yourself with tools
Make sure you know which tool is used, for what purpose. Set all the tools near to you in order so that you know what you will be doing next.
Now you can place the mattress, and you are all set to sleep on it.
Here are some important points you should keep in mind while assembling the bed:
- When you are about to start, make sure you have a spacious and dry place.
- All appropriate tools are assembled.
- Make sure the legs are in contact firmly with the ground.
- Do not use any power tools as they may damage the product.
- Do not tighten all the screws before adjusting all the parts.
- Do not use the bed, while you are installing the lifting mechanism. And after installing it, do check if it is operating properly.
Step 1 -Fitting Chrome Feet/Castors
The first step is to simply push the feet into each socket, 4 chrome glides per base unit.
Step 2 – Connect Gas Pistons
Connect Gas Pistons to the lid hinge and the base hinge points, bolts are supplied and fitted, gas pistons can be fitted either way, .
Optional: Safety Gas Piston lock to be fitted to top hinge point, ensure it is fitted correctly, so it can be used to lock the lids in the open position when accessing the storage area.
Gas piston lock can be removed when storage area is no longer being accessed.
Step 3 – Position the Ottoman Bed Base Units
Set the Ottoman base units into position (rounded corners on the outside – as per the illustration to the right).
Step 4 – Fit U-Clips Between the Ottoman Bed Base Units
Slide the 2 U clips on (secure the two bases together).
Step 5 – Secure The Ottoman Bed Lids
Secure the Ottoman Lid
Using the 100mm plastic headed bolt secure the lids together this will then allow for synchronised lifting of the lids and mattress.
Step 6 – Securing The Headboard - End Lift Bed Base

First locate the holes on the base by opening the bed base, under normal circumstances stickers are visible in the hole positions
If you are using a floor standing headboard use the Short bolts to secure the headboard into place.
repeat the above if you have a headboard with wooden struts.
Step 6 – Securing The Headboard - Side Lift Bed Base
Ottoman Side Lift Headboard Fitting Procedure
Prior to fitting headboard locate the holes on the base unit by running your fingers over the bolt holes, under normal circumstances stickers are visible in these positions.
If you are using a floor standing headboard secure the headboard with 4 100mm long bolts and position the spacers between the headboard and base units.
Repeat the above if you have a headboard with wooden struts.

Note:
- These Ottoman Beds are designed as such, you need to apply the least amount of effort to lift the Mattress
- to put the mattress on the bed base you must be done by 2 people.
- One Person must hold the lids down and the second person to add the mattress to the base top.
