How The 5-Part Adjustable Bed Works
The standard mechanism is designed to improve sitting, reclining and leg elevation comfort.
Neck & Back AdjustmentThe neck and pillow section raises first, then the back section follows smoothly until the button is released.
Adjustable Centre TensionThe static centre section includes adjustable tensioners so you can fine-tune slat firmness when sitting up.
Foot End SupportThe knee section lifts to elevate your legs while the lower leg section positions the feet at a comfortable support angle.

What is the difference between twin operation and single operation?
Twin operation gives each side of the bed its own adjustable movement, which is useful for couples who want different positions. Single operation adjusts one shared sleeping surface as a single bed.
Can I add ottoman storage to an adjustable bed?
Selected adjustable beds can be configured with gas lift assist ottoman storage. The all-electric ottoman model is designed for electric storage access. Always check the selected product configuration before ordering.
What does the standard 5-part mechanism adjust?
The mechanism adjusts the neck, back and leg sections, with a static centre section and tensioners for comfort. It helps with sitting up, reclining and elevating the legs.
What user weight is the standard mechanism designed for?
The standard included mechanism is designed for users up to 18st / 115kg. Heavy duty options may be available on request for users between 18st / 115kg and 25st / 160kg.
Do I need a special mattress?
Use a mattress that is suitable for adjustable bed movement. Flexible foam, latex and compatible hybrid mattresses are usually better suited than rigid mattresses that cannot bend with the base.
Can I choose the headboard and fabric?
Yes. Adjustable beds can be configured with matching base fabric and headboard options, including 54 inch wingback and 54 or 60 inch high headboard choices where available.
